Insurance Distributed Activity

  1. Bexley Beaumont Limited (registered in England and Wales 12216664) is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority number 884870. Its registered office is Centurion House,129 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 3WR.
  2. Bexley Beaumont Limited is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). However, it is included on the FCA’s register so that it can carry out Insurance Distribution Activity, which is broadly the advising on, selling and administration of insurance contracts. Its authorisation can be confirmed on the FCA register at https://register.fca.org.uk/
  3. Insurance Distribution Activity is an exempt regulated activity as defined in section 325(2) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) which may, as a result of Part 20 of the FSMA, be carried on by Bexley Beaumont Limited as members of a profession supervised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
  4. The provision of our legal services may also involve other regulated activities in relation to investments within the meaning of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). Although Bexley Beaumont Limited is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Act for those regulated activities, pursuant to Part 20 of FSMA we may undertake activities such as arranging and advising which are incidental to our legal services or which may reasonably be regarded as a necessary part of our legal services. In doing so we are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We cannot provide advice on the merits of financial products but can assist you to execute decisions which you may have made in relation to financial products.
  5. Bexley Beaumont Limited does not have any direct or indirect holdings which represent more than 10% of the voting rights or the capital of an insurance broker, an insurer or any individual or organisation carrying out insurance business (an ‘Insurance Undertaking’).
  6. No Insurance Undertaking or parent of an Insurance Undertaking has any direct or indirect holdings which represent more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of Bexley Beaumont Limited.
  7. Bexley Beaumont Limited do not receive any commission or financial incentive for arranging contracts of insurance.
