- Estate planning and wealth preservation, including Inheritance Tax and care fee mitigation.
- Wills: From straightforward wills to complex wills, incorporating tax-efficient planning, arrangements for complex family circumstances or vulnerable beneficiaries, business owners and farmers, charitable structures, and individuals who are non-long-term UK residents;
- Powers of Attorney: Including General Powers of Attorney, business powers of attorney, trustee powers of attorney, Lasting Powers of Attorney (both health and welfare and property and financial affairs), and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney;
- Trusts: Advising trustees on their powers or duties, the creation of lifetime trusts, registration of trusts on the TRS, preparation of trust income tax returns and Inheritance Tax returns for the 10-yearly anniversary and exit charges, ongoing trust administration, preparation of ancillary deeds such as Deeds of Appointment, and winding up trusts. She has expertise in estates involving business or agricultural interests, wills incorporating trusts, international property, and deceased individuals who were non-UK domiciled or non-long-term UK residents. Charlotte is also able to assist with the UK resealing of foreign grants, and
- Charity law: From advising on the different types of charitable structures, creating the charitable structures and registering the charity with the Charity Commission in England and Wales, carrying out day-to-day administration, to winding up the charity.
Charlotte acts as a professional executor, attorney and trustee for family trusts and charitable structures.
She is a qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), reflecting her commitment to excellence and technical expertise within her practice area.
