Bexley Beaumont has been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s British Legal Awards, including Outstanding Corporate Culture and UK Law Firm of the Year (Mid-Sized Firm).
Bexley Beaumont is one of nine practices shortlisted for UK Law Firm of the Year (Mid-Sized Firm) and one of just five finalists competing for the Outstanding Corporate Culture award.
For Bexley Beaumont co-founder and Chief Executive Karen Bexley, the double shortlisting is recognition of the progress the firm has made since its launch, with the culture accolade particularly significant given the emphasis placed on culture and community from the outset.
Karen said:
"Before launching, we spent a considerable amount of time and effort trying to determine how we might make a genuine difference.
"It was our belief that success stems from having the right kind of environment. We were convinced that it would not only make an attractive place for talented individuals to work but that doing what we could to facilitate collaboration and a sense of autonomy could really deliver results for clients and the communities in which we operate too.
"We have also invested immense time and effort to ensure not only that the culture is right for the people who work with us but that, equally, they also fit our approach.
"It is incredibly satisfying, therefore, to find identified for the strength of our culture. After all, it is central to everything that we do."
The British Legal Awards celebrate achievements across the legal sector, recognising lawyers and legal businesses across private practice and in-house teams.
The UK Law Firm of the Year categories recognise firms demonstrating leadership in their markets and significant progress over the previous 12 months. The Outstanding Corporate Culture award recognises organisations that have successfully developed initiatives or an overarching mission focused on the wellbeing, welfare and advancement of their people and wider stakeholders.
The latest shortlisting comes during a period of significant growth for Bexley Beaumont.
Over the past year, the firm has strengthened its partner offering across its Employment, Real Estate and Corporate & Commercial practices, while expanding into areas including Litigation, Business Immigration, and Equine Law.
The firm was also ranked as the fastest-growing legal business in an influential industry growth study compiled by Codex Edge, achieving the position for the fourth consecutive year.
Alongside its growth in legal services, Bexley Beaumont has continued to receive recognition for the wider vision established by co-founders Karen Bexley and Anna Beaumont.
Earlier this year, the firm became one of a relatively small number of legal businesses in the UK to achieve B Corp certification, recognising its commitment to meeting high standards of social and environmental performance.
In July, Bexley Beaumont was the only legal practice named in the Founder 250, a list celebrating 250 of the UK's leading founder-led companies. The list recognises businesses where the influence and vision of their founders remain central to the organisation, with Bexley Beaumont also one of just 42 companies on the list founded by women.
With offices in London and Manchester, Bexley Beaumont now has 120 people in the business.
The winners of the British Legal Awards will be announced at a ceremony at City Central at the HAC in London on 25 November 2026.
