Latest Award Recognition Keeps 'Trailblazer' Bexley Beaumont on a Roll

The firm has been chosen as one of the winners of the Northern Trailblazer prizes by the global professional services consultancy Grant Thornton.

The announcement coincided with Bexley Beaumont being nominated for the fourth year in a row as one of the country's best legal businesses in awards organised by The Lawyer magazine.

Having twice been finalist in the Law Company of the Year category, the firm has now achieved back-to-back shortlistings for the New Law Business of the Year award.

Bexley Beaumont Co-founder and Chief Executive Karen Bexley has explained that the news is a further indication of the growing nationwide impact made by a firm which only launched six years ago.

It comes just two months after Bexley Beaumont became one of only 38 law firms across England and Wales to secure the internationally renowned B-Corp status for sustainability and governance.

Ms Bexley said: "We have had yet another remarkable few months. It really means a lot to have clients and people outside the firm appreciate the quality of the work which we do and our distinct approach to delivering excellence as a business.

"It is certainly something which we do not take for granted. We have set high standards and do our very best to live up to them every single day.

"That sense of ambition, allied to our flexibility and collaboration, is why we also have so many very talented individuals wanting to work with us and why we are immensely confident about the future."

The Grant Thornton Northern Trailblazer awards honour 50 "stand-out" businesses from across the North of England which are "driving growth, innovation and real market impact'.

Organisers paid particular tribute to Bexley Beaumont's "rapid growth and innovative professional services model" which, they said is "reshaping how legal talent and clients work together".

The Lawyer's annual awards, meanwhile, are described as "the ultimate stage for legal mastery in the UK, honouring top-notch lawyers and powerhouse firms across diverse areas".

A year after being highly commended in the New Law Business of the Year category, Bexley Beaumont finds itself one of nine firms in the running for the same prize.

The category is open to firms which "do not have a traditional law firm partnership structure but at which the primary purpose is the provision of legal services".

It will be among 28 prizes to be handed out at a ceremony in London's JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on June the 16th.

In the 12 months since last being a finalist, Bexley Beaumont has notched up more stunning progress.

Most notable is its achieving B-Corp certification in January following a rigorous two-year assessment, recording one of the highest scores of any qualifying legal practice in England and Wales in the process.
