Adrian is a commercial real estate lawyer with over 25 years’ experience advising clients across a range of sectors including retail, office and industrial. Prior to joining Bexley Beaumont, he spent 15 years as a Partner in DAC Beachcroft’s Manchester office having previously worked with DLA Piper.

Areas Adrian advises on include:

  • Granting and taking of leases and underleases;
  • Development agreements;
  • Agreements conditional on planning permission, licensing and vacant possession;
  • Turnover rents and revenue and profit share arrangements;
  • Sales and purchases including investment sales and purchases and overage;
  • Estate management including licences to assign, underlet and alter;

Adrian builds longstanding relationships with clients. He led the team dealing with lettings and asset management at a regional shopping centre from its redevelopment in 2007-08 through 3 different ownerships. He has acted for a major retailer for more than 20 years and a recent highlight has been acting for it in relation to the development of a new national distribution centre.
