Graham has over 30 years corporate and commercial disputes experience representing large national businesses, SME’s, shareholders, owners and high net worth individuals. Graham has led litigation teams in private practice and as MD run a national law firm ultimately owned by a US fortune 500 company. He offers a mix of practical hands on high-level disputes knowledge and an understanding of the demands and needs of running and owning businesses having been there himself.

Graham has wide experience in a range of disputes - commercial, contractual, civil injunctions, shareholder and partnership, professional negligence, property, construction, contentious trusts and probate, defamation, sports, technology and IP across multiple sectors.

Graham has represented clients in the High and County Courts, Arbitrations and Adjudications and equally has extensive experience of alternative ways of dispute resolution including Mediation and informal negotiation.

Graham is often brought in and involved in the early stages of a potential dispute advising behind the scenes on strategy and options to mitigate and resolve in order to avoid an escalation. He also offers training to boards and senior managers on dispute avoidance and handling.

  • Defending the claim of a high-profile individual’s business in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court over trademark and IP use and ownership which eventually settled with Graham also negotiating the heads of terms for the investment in and acquisition of his client’s company.
  • Substantial worldwide product recall and breach of warranty claim settled at mediation for a multinational manufacturing company.
  • Defending a search and seizure order against a company setting up a factory in China against allegations of abuse of confidential information and formulas.
  • Defending a company alleged to have polluted a sewage treatment plant and the river Trent with cyanide including dealing with associated publicity.
  • Substantial partnership dispute against a national accountancy practice.
  • Defending the supplier of a manifold to a North Sea drilling rig in arbitration proceedings value £1.5m
  • FA Premier League Commission acting for a Premier League club.
  • Representing a Premier League club in its claim against its former manager for breach of contract.
